The Policing Pledge is a promise that the Constabulary is making to the communities of Avon and Somerset. It contains clear commitments on the standards of service that you can expect from the police. These include providing information about how to contact your Safer, Stronger Neighbourhoods Team and how you can have your say on the priorities you think that the police and their partners should be tackling in your area.

Police Authorities are responsible for ensuring that local policing is responsive to communities needs. We support the development of standards setting out what our communities can expect from the Constabulary. The Authority will oversee the implementation of the Pledge through reports to its Committees and through your feedback.
