Terms of Reference
General Functions:
- to promote and maintain high standards of conduct by the members of the Police Authority;
- to assist members to observe the Authority�s code of conduct;
Specific Functions (not detracting from the above):
- to advise the Authority on the adoption or revision of a code of conduct;
- to monitor the operation of the Authority�s code of conduct;
- to advise, train or arrange to train members of the Authority on matters relating to the code of conduct;
- to undertake, as required, local assessment and adjudication of alleged breaches of the Authority�s Code of Conduct by Members of the Authority, and
- to give views to the Authority when consulted on matters relating to the Members� Allowance Scheme
