About this section

The Police Authority holds regular meetings throughout the year to discuss a variety of issues affecting policing in our force area. The meetings are open to the public and members of the media and community are encouraged to attend.

 

A number of committees covering specialist areas support the Police Authority. They consist of members of the Police Authority who meet to discuss a range of specialist topics. The committees are able to make decisions in their own right or can make recommendations either to other committees or to full meetings of the Police Authority.
